Important Notice Regarding Trading Accounts
The broker XChief has recently discontinued support for the account types previously used by the developer for live trading. Consequently, trading activity on those accounts was stopped.
All trading funds were safely withdrawn and no losses of deposited capital occurred. Clients can also verify the withdrawal transactions directly on Myfxbook. The account closure was caused exclusively by broker-side policy changes.
To maintain uninterrupted live performance tracking, the developer had previously launched the strategy on another broker. As a result, the currently active accounts have a shorter track record at the moment, although they are effectively a continuation of the same trading system and trading approach.
Backtests
In addition to live trading statistics, FXLambda has also been tested on historical market data starting from 2018.
Backtests are not a replacement for real trading results, and they should never be treated as a guarantee of future performance. However, they are still a valuable part of strategy evaluation. They allow us to analyze how the system would have behaved across a longer historical period, including different volatility cycles, market trends, corrections, and unstable trading conditions.
For FXLambda, backtests are prepared separately for each supported currency pair. This gives a clearer view of how the robot performs on every individual market instead of hiding results inside one combined test.
The most important advantage of these tests is that they help show the broader logic of the system. While Myfxbook statistics demonstrate how FXLambda performs on real accounts, backtests help illustrate how the strategy reacts to historical price behavior over a much longer period.
